Role Description The Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician role at Sodexo India Tamilnadu is a full-time remote position responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems and related equipment. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, identifying and diagnosing technical issues, carrying out corrective and preventive maintenance, and ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently. The technician will respond to service requests, document work performed, follow EPA and safety guidelines, and coordinate with facilities teams and clients to minimize downtime. This role also involves focusing on customer satisfaction by providing clear communication, reliable service, and timely follow-up on all assigned HVAC tasks.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair skills to diagnose issues and restore HVAC systems to proper operation.
Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance skills to perform scheduled inspections, service tasks, and system checks that reduce failures and extend equipment life.
Candidates should possess Customer Satisfaction skills, including clear communication, responsiveness, and a professional service mindset.
Candidates should possess knowledge of EPA guidelines and applicable safety standards for handling refrigerants and working with HVAC equipment.
Relevant technical diploma or certification in HVAC or mechanical/electrical systems is preferred.
Prior experience in HVAC field service or facilities maintenance, ideally with remote support or multi-site environments, is beneficial.
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics, use diagnostic tools, and maintain accurate service records.
