Teaching is focused on step-by-step concept building in clear, simple language, supported by regular practice with exam-level problems. Weekly tests, doubt-solving sessions, and emphasis on speed, accuracy, and time management help learners gain confidence at every level. With small batches, personal attention, and both offline and online options, the center provides a supportive environment for students aiming from basics to top ranks.
Role Description The Assistant Professor of Physics will teach Physics to Class 11 and 12 students and entrance exam aspirants in a coaching environment, focusing on clear concept explanation and problem-solving strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering lectures, preparing and reviewing assignments and test papers, conducting weekly tests, and leading doubt-clearing and revision sessions. The educator will design and update lesson plans aligned with Maharashtra State Board, CBSE, and relevant entrance exam syllabi, and adapt teaching methods for both classroom and online sessions. Additional responsibilities include monitoring student performance, providing individual feedback, supporting exam preparation techniques, and collaborating with other faculty to maintain academic quality. This is a contract, hybrid role based in Mumbai, with a mix of on-site teaching and some work-from-home for online classes and academic preparation.
Qualifications
Strong subject mastery in Physics and Theoretical Physics, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for school and entrance exam levels.
Background in Physics Education, including experience in coaching or teaching board and competitive exam syllabi.
Comfort with Mathematics relevant to high school and entrance exam Physics, including numericals, derivations, and problem-solving.
Awareness of Astronomy concepts that can enrich Physics teaching and engage learners’ interest.
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Physics or a closely related field; a master’s degree or higher is preferred.
Prior teaching or coaching experience with Class 11–12 or entrance exams (MHT-CET, JEE, BITSAT, etc.) is highly beneficial.
Ability to design structured lesson plans, create test papers, and analyze student performance data.
Effective communication skills, patience, and a learner-centered approach, with the ability to handle small batches and provide personal attention.
Comfort with using digital tools and online teaching platforms for hybrid delivery.
