Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Kolkata. The Electrical Engineer will design and review electrical systems and layouts for projects, including power distribution and related infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing technical drawings and documentation, performing calculations and load analysis, supporting installation and commissioning activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The role also involves coordinating with project managers and other engineering disciplines, troubleshooting electrical issues on-site, and assisting with inspections, testing, and quality assurance. The Electrical Engineer will contribute to project planning, timelines, and continuous improvement of engineering processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering for developing and reviewing system layouts and specifications.
Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Electricity and Power Systems for analysis, safety, and performance optimization.
Candidates should possess experience in Power Distribution for planning, load management, and network configuration.
Candidates should possess familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations applicable to industrial and commercial projects.
Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in technical work.
Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional project teams and stakeholders.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field; professional certifications or license are an advantage.
Experience with electrical design software, CAD tools, and common engineering applications will be beneficial.
