About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Pump Screen puts ads on gas-pump screens. We design and run the content for convenience stores and gas stations across the US, from product promos to seasonal campaigns to motion video, and we're growing fast. We need a designer who can produce a lot of great work quickly without it all looking the same.
What you'll do
-Design static and motion ads for pump-top and in-store screens (1000x550 and other formats).
-Create original ads for each client, not recycled templates.
-Cut out products, build layouts, and animate ads into short looping .mp4s.
-Work in Canva every day, and use AI image tools where they make the work faster or better.
-Keep client logos, product assets, and brand files organized so the team can find them.
-Work with our US-based project manager to hit deadlines across hundreds of sites.
What we're looking for
-A portfolio that shows strong retail, food, or beverage ad work. Bold type, clean product shots, and ads that read in 3 seconds.
-Motion/animation experience (After Effects, Canva, CapCut, or similar).
-Fast and consistent. You can handle volume without dropping quality.
-Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT image gen, Canva Magic Layers, and background removal.
-Strong written English and clear communication with a US team.
-Reliable internet and your own computer.
-Able to overlap a few hours with US Eastern Time.
-Bonus: experience with US retail brands, digital signage, or c-store/QSR clients.
Why Pump Screen
-Your work goes live on real screens in US stores every week.
-Small team, no layers, and your ideas get used.
-Long-term role with room to grow as we scale from hundreds of sites to thousands.
To apply, send your portfolio and a few examples of ads or motion work you're proud of.
