Application Engineer

Role Description The Application Engineer role at ViaSell® is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. This role involves providing technical support to customers and internal teams, troubleshooting application and system issues, and ensuring smooth installation, configuration, and performance of ViaSell® solutions. The Application Engineer collaborates with software and engineering teams to adapt products to customer needs, participate in testing and validation, and document technical specifications and procedures. Daily responsibilities also include responding to client inquiries, assisting with product demonstrations, and contributing to continuous improvement of applications and processes.
Qualifications
Strong Technical Support skills, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and customer-facing communication.
Experience in Software Development, such as understanding software architectures, integration, and basic coding or scripting.
Background in Electrical Engineering, with knowledge of circuits, control systems, or related hardware interfaces.
Background in Mechanical Engineering, including familiarity with mechanical systems, components, or industrial equipment.
Testing skills, including functional testing, system validation, and documenting test results.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work on-site in Pune Division, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with clear written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in customer-facing technical roles, application engineering, or field support is an advantage.
Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving client and product requirements.
