Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Engineer role based in Delhi, India. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations. Daily tasks include performing routine inspections, carrying out preventive maintenance, diagnosing equipment failures, and implementing corrective actions. The role involves coordinating with production and quality teams, documenting maintenance activities, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability. The Maintenance Engineer will also help ensure compliance with safety standards and contribute to optimizing machine performance and uptime.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair to handle day-to-day machinery issues and breakdowns.
Proficiency in Maintenance Engineering, including understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with Preventive Maintenance planning and execution to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
Hands-on Electrical Maintenance capabilities, including basic troubleshooting of motors, drives, sensors, and control panels.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and maintenance documentation.
Familiarity with safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe work practices in an industrial setting.
Good communication skills, ability to work in cross-functional teams, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Experience in an automotive or high-volume manufacturing plant is an advantage.
