Role Description The Interior Designer Intern will support the design team with day-to-day project activities in an on-site role based in Delhi, India. Responsibilities include assisting with concept development, preparing mood boards, and helping create layout plans and basic drawings under guidance. The intern will help source materials, finishes, and furniture, and support in maintaining sample libraries and project documentation. Additional tasks may include preparing presentations, organizing files, and coordinating with team members for site visits and measurements. This is an internship position designed to offer practical experience in interior design and exposure to client-driven projects.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge of interior design principles, space planning, and color theory.
Ability to use design and visualization tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar software.
Strong sense of aesthetics, attention to detail, and willingness to learn on live projects.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with designers and project teams.
Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Interior Design or a related field.
Availability to work on-site in Delhi, India for the duration of the internship.
