Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role based in Barwani. The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment and systems to ensure smooth and safe plant operations. Day-to-day tasks include conducting inspections, diagnosing equipment issues, performing mechanical adjustments, and coordinating both preventive and corrective maintenance activities. The role involves planning maintenance schedules, documenting maintenance work, collaborating with production and safety teams, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime. The engineer will also work with vendors and contractors when needed, adhere to safety and compliance standards, and contribute to optimizing equipment performance and life cycle.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair to ensure reliable operation of mechanical systems.
Candidates should possess skills in Maintenance Engineering and Mechanical Maintenance to diagnose issues and implement effective technical solutions.
Candidates should possess expertise in Preventive Maintenance to plan, schedule, and execute maintenance activities that minimize unplanned downtime.
Relevant technical degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
Experience in industrial, manufacturing, utilities, or plant maintenance environments is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and technical documentation.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site in Barwani.
