Role Description The Associate will work on a full-time, on-site basis at The Apex Juris law firm in Lucknow. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in legal research, drafting and reviewing legal documents, preparing case files, and supporting senior lawyers in hearings and client meetings. The Associate will analyze legal issues, contribute to strategy development, and help maintain accurate and organized documentation. The role also involves communicating with clients, coordinating with court and administrative offices, and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks. The firm expects the Associate to uphold professional ethics, maintain confidentiality, and actively participate in team discussions and knowledge-sharing.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Law, with knowledge of relevant statutes, case law, and legal procedures.
Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting pleadings, contracts, notices, and legal opinions.
Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret legal issues, assess case strengths, and develop reasoned arguments.
Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with clients, colleagues, and court officials.
Ability to identify, understand, and address Legal Issues across civil, criminal, or corporate matters, as applicable.
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); enrollment with a Bar Council and eligibility to practice law preferred.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
Professional integrity, commitment to confidentiality, and willingness to learn and take initiative.
Prior internship or work experience in a law firm or litigation environment is an advantage.
