WE’RE HIRING: ENERGY PROGRAM ADVISOR – ASSET STRATEGIES
Are you passionate about energy efficiency, sustainable housing, climate resilience, and creating meaningful change? AHMA is looking for an Energy Program Advisor to join our Asset Strategies Branch and help advance innovative initiatives that strengthen Indigenous housing across British Columbia.
This is an opportunity to put your technical knowledge and relationship-building skills to work. You’ll help Indigenous Housing Societies identify and implement energy efficiency, low-carbon, climate resilience, retrofit, and capital renewal opportunities, while supporting funding applications, delivering training and workshops, analyzing building and utility data, and developing partnerships across the housing, energy, government, and sustainability sectors. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to policy discussions, sector initiatives, research, and innovative approaches that advance energy justice, climate resilience, and sustainable housing outcomes. The position is remote within BC, with travel as required.
