Role Description The Service Engineer (Fresher) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune City. In this role, you will assist with routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of equipment at client locations under the guidance of senior engineers. You will perform basic troubleshooting, support installation and commissioning tasks, and document service activities accurately. Daily work includes responding to technical issues, coordinating with internal teams and customers, and following established safety and quality procedures. You will also participate in training, learn product and system details, and continuously develop your technical and communication skills to serve clients effectively.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to identify, analyze, and resolve basic equipment and system issues.
Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills to perform routine servicing, component replacement, and preventive checks as per guidelines.
Candidates should possess Field Service skills to work at customer sites, follow visit schedules, and adapt to varied on-site environments.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with customers and team members, and to prepare clear service reports.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field) is preferred.
Basic understanding of safety standards, tools, and measurement instruments is beneficial.
Willingness to travel within and around Pune City for on-site assignments and to work flexible hours when required.
Ability to learn quickly, follow instructions, and work responsibly as part of a technical service team.
