About the Team and the Role
As a Lead SDET/ QA Engineer, looking for a Senior or Lead QA Engineer to defi ne and execute test strategy for embedded and cloud software as we build toward market release in a regulated Software-as-a-Medical-Device (SaMD) environment. This hands-on role covers everything from test planning and risk analysis through automation, execution, defect investigation, and FDA-aligned regulatory documentation, working closely with engineering, product, product design, clinical, and regulatory stakeholders.
What will you do?
Lead test strategy, planning, automation, and release validation across products.
Build and maintain automated test frameworks/scripts and integrate them with CI/CD.
Drive Functional, Integration, Regression, Performance, Scalability, and Reliability testing across UI, API, and cloud.
Lead QA priorities, mentor SDET/QA engineers, manage defects and root-cause analysis.
Track automation coverage, QA metrics, and release readiness; drive continuous improvement.
Leverage AI/GenAI tools to improve testing and productivity.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Engineering, or related field with 7+ years of QA with 4+ as SDET or automation experience.
Mandatory: Hands-on SDET experience in a product/startup environment or fast-paced/high-growth teams
Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar with automation framework experience.
Experience with UI/API automation and CI/CD using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, pytest, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.
Strong SDLC, testing, defect management, and Jira knowledge.
Exposure to GenAI/LLMs/AI-assisted testing is a plus.
Healthcare/regulated product experience is an advantage.
