Role Description The Simulation Trainer (Medical) is a part-time role responsible for delivering high-quality, technology-enabled clinical simulation training to healthcare learners. Based in Pune City in a hybrid arrangement, this position involves conducting in-person simulation sessions in designated facilities and performing preparation, documentation, and follow-up tasks from home when appropriate. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and updating simulation scenarios, operating and troubleshooting simulation equipment, facilitating debriefings, and providing structured feedback to participants. The trainer collaborates with academic and clinical stakeholders to align simulation content with learning objectives and current medical guidelines, maintains accurate training records, and supports continuous improvement of digital health training programs.
Qualifications
Strong clinical knowledge in medicine, nursing, or allied health and familiarity with evidence-based practice.
Experience with medical simulation training, including scenario design, facilitation, and debriefing.
Comfort with healthcare technology, simulation equipment, and basic troubleshooting of digital tools.
Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for engaging diverse learner groups.
Organizational and time-management skills to plan sessions, manage resources, and document outcomes.
Ability to work in a hybrid model in Pune City, balancing in-person sessions with remote tasks.
Prior experience in medical education, clinical teaching, or skills lab coordination is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in medicine, nursing, or a related healthcare field; relevant certifications in simulation or medical education are an advantage.
