About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

Why Apply:
At Kaigora, we believe talent isn't defined by your major, experience, or connections. It's defined by your willingness to learn and grow. We're a student-first company committed to helping students take their first steps into the finance and technology industries, regardless of their academic background or prior experience. As a Marketing Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience at a growing company, collaborate with professionals across finance, business development, software engineering, and marketing, and build meaningful connections that can help shape your future career. No finance experience? No problem. We're looking for curious, ambitious students who are eager to learn, contribute, and grow alongside us.
Company Description:
Kaigora is the world’s first independent verification layer for quantitative trading skill, providing a standardized framework to validate real risk-adjusted performance. The platform connects human traders, AI agents, and quantitative strategies, turning verified outcomes into portable credentials that can be shared with employers and institutional partners. By replacing traditional, subjective hiring methods with independently verified evidence, Kaigora helps firms identify trading talent based on demonstrated performance instead of unverified claims. Participants retain ownership of their intellectual property while building tamper-proof, auditable records, supported by Kaigora’s software-only infrastructure that does not hold funds, allocate capital, or execute trades.
Role Description:
This is a full-time remote Marketing Intern role focused on supporting Kaigora’s growth in the trading, AI, and quantitative finance communities. The Marketing Intern will assist in conducting market research to understand user needs, competitor offerings, and industry trends, and help translate insights into practical marketing initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include supporting marketing campaigns, drafting basic marketing content, coordinating with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging, and helping maintain Kaigora’s online presence across relevant channels. The intern will also assist with lead generation activities, contribute to simple sales outreach support, and help track and report on campaign performance.
What You'll Gain:
Real Industry Experience: Build practical marketing and business development skills within a growing financial/tech company.
Mentorship & Networking: Connect with professionals across finance, software engineering, business development, and marketing.
Career Development: Gain exposure to different career paths and discover where your strengths and interests can take you.
Meaningful Contributions: Take ownership of real projects, develop your professional portfolio, and see the impact of your work.
Room to Grow: Develop your skills in a collaborative, student-focused environment that values initiative, creativity, and ambition.
Qualifications
Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication for internal collaboration and external outreach.
Ability to conduct Market Research to gather, organize, and interpret data about users, competitors, and industry trends.
Interest in Sales support activities, such as assisting with outreach, follow-ups, and basic lead management.
Foundational Marketing Strategy understanding and enthusiasm for learning how to plan and evaluate marketing initiatives.
Customer Service mindset, with the ability to respond professionally and effectively to inquiries from users and partners.
Relevant academic background in Marketing, Business, Communications, Economics, Finance, or a related field (current student or recent graduate).
Comfort working with digital tools and platforms (e.g., social media, productivity tools).
Interest in financial markets, or fintech; prior exposure to these areas is beneficial but not required.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate across time zones.
