DESCRIPTION:
The Farm Team Leader will support and guide a team of three employees with disabilities working at the Work Happiness Farm. The primary responsibility of this role is to create a safe, positive, and supportive work environment where each team member can feel comfortable, motivated, and engaged in their daily work.
The Team Leader will coordinate daily farming activities, including growing, caring for, and harvesting vegetables, and provide clear instructions and practical support based on each team member’s individual needs and abilities.
An important part of the role is to build trusting relationships with team members, encourage open communication, and help them maintain motivation and confidence at work. The Team Leader will pay attention to each employee’s condition and progress, provide encouragement when needed, and support the team in working cooperatively and positively together.
The Team Leader is also expected to help maintain a workplace where team members enjoy coming to work each day, can perform their roles safely and successfully, and are supported in achieving stable and long-term employment with the company.
REQUIREMENTS:
• No prior experience required
• Professional certification preferred
• Additional relevant certifications a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Organizational and time management skills
