Role Description The Finishing Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing all finishing activities at the project site. This position monitors daily work related to interior and exterior finishes, including flooring, painting, plastering, carpentry, and fixtures, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety norms. The Finishing Supervisor coordinates with contractors, subcontractors, and site engineers to plan work sequences, resolve on-site issues, and maintain progress as per the project schedule. The role involves conducting regular inspections, preparing progress reports, verifying materials and workmanship, and ensuring that completed units are ready for handover according to company standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong knowledge of finishing works in building construction, including flooring, painting, plastering, carpentry, and installation of fixtures.
Candidates should possess experience in site supervision, quality control, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards within real estate or construction projects.
Candidates should possess skills in reading and understanding drawings, specifications, and BOQs, and coordinating with project engineers and vendors.
Candidates should possess abilities in planning daily work, tracking progress against schedules, and reporting on milestones and issues.
Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to manage site teams, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field is preferred, with prior experience as a finishing supervisor or similar role.
Candidates should possess familiarity with quality standards, inspection procedures, and basic use of construction management tools or software.
Candidates should possess a focus on detail, problem-solving ability, and readiness to work on-site in a dynamic project environment.
