[LTA-IDE] COMPUTATIONAL DESIGN TECHNOLOGIST (1-YEAR TEMPORARY CONTRACT)
[What you will be working on]
As part of the team members developing AI digitalisation for Infrastructure Design & Engineering Division, you will focus on Computational parametric design and Ai generative digitalisation project for LTA Station Design Criteria. In addition to software development, this project covers a broad-spectrum including design of users’ interface, back-end documentation for troubleshooting, etc.
Some key tasks are as follows:
Conduct Rule-set authoring to Convert Criteria into machine-readable code/rule-sets;
Build the context library consisting a corpus of past station designs with known outcomes;
Assist Leader to conduct series of Workshops to establish key goals for review and validations.
Run structured technical sessions with discipline leads to validate interpretations.
[What we are looking for]
Knowledge in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, Building Science, Computer Science or a related discipline.
Parametric analytical thinking skill set & IT expertise to carry out analysis, coding and script-writing to develop a platform for Ai Generative Digitalisation project
Participate in team discussion and coordinate workshop
Working proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript — able to write and test a rule evaluator, not only edit scripts.
Exposure to rule or decision engines (JSON Logic, DMN, OPA/Rego) or to any regulated rules-as-code domain.
As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and /or undergo further assessment.
