Intern - Sales & Marketing (Dislio ERP)

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and eager-to-learn Sales & Marketing Intern to support the growth of Dislio ERP. This internship provides hands-on exposure to B2B software sales, digital marketing, lead generation, customer engagement, and business development.
You will work closely with our sales and leadership teams, gaining practical experience in promoting a modern cloud ERP solution used by businesses across multiple industries.
Important Note
This is a remote internship, however it requires occasional travel for client meetings, exhibitions, company events, and marketing activities across Colombo and other parts of Sri Lanka when required. Applicants seeking a fully home-based internship are not suitable for this role.
Responsibilities
Assist the sales team with lead generation and prospect research
Support outbound marketing campaigns through email, LinkedIn, phone calls, and social media
Identify potential customers across trading, distribution, manufacturing, and service industries
Help prepare presentations, proposals, demonstrations, and marketing materials
Maintain CRM records and keep the sales pipeline updated
Follow up with prospects and schedule product demonstrations
Assist with digital marketing initiatives, events, webinars, and promotional campaigns
Conduct market and competitor research to identify new business opportunities
Coordinate with implementation and customer success teams to ensure smooth client onboarding
Perform other sales and marketing-related tasks assigned by the leadership team
Candidate Profile
Undergraduate or recent graduate in Marketing, Business Management, IT, Commerce, or a related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative
Interest in technology, software, SaaS, or ERP solutions
Good presentation and relationship-building skills
Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks
Willingness to travel when required
