Position Purpose: Contributes to the design of data integration, processing, reporting, and analytics. Executes strategies for warehouse implementation, data acquisition and access, and data archiving and recovery. Develops data platform specific capabilities and roadmaps, works closely with the Data Strategy Architect, analyzes high-level requirements, constructs workflow charts and diagrams, studies system capabilities, writes specifications, process modeling, organization modeling, and use cases. Plans, develops, and participates in all activities related to the integration of software programs, applications, and third-party solutions to meet the business requirements of the organization. Documents and integrates architecture guidelines, standards, and common services to support project integration requirements. Recommends new data sources, platforms, and tools for adherence to the organization's data strategy, quality standards, and ease of integration.
Provides technical guidance for data and analytics products and platforms
Provides subject matter expertise regarding information architecture
Develops and enforces the data architecture standards, working with Business, Application, and Operations counterparts to assure data integrity and consistency
Maintains documentation that maps data models to information systems and business applications
Partners with Strategy, Enterprise, and Information Architecture teams to enable enterprise data modernization initiativesFocus on turning strategy into delivered business capabilities while ensuring governance, reuse, and platform alignment.
Define the architecture for data ingestion, integration, storage, analytics, reporting, security, governance, and operational support. Ensure solutions are scalable, supportable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Coordinate intake, discovery, requirements clarification, and stakeholder alignment across business, product, engineering, and platform teams. Translate business outcomes into implementable data and analytics solutions.
Manages data dictionary to improve documentation and coordination
Assists in building of enterprise architecture information blueprints and data models that illustrate how information is stored, processed, and accessed in the enterprise
Participates in data architecture, data sourcing, data flow, and solution discussions for data initiatives
Participates in enterprise information architecture discussions around needs and alignment to enterprise goals
Collaborates on data-related business requirements and perform data architecture reviews
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all policies and standards
Education/Experience: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and requires 2 – 4 years of related experience.
Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
Technical Skills
One or more of the following skills are desired.
Solution Architecture experience
Data Pipeline Integration, Data Governance experience
Data Catalog, Metadata, Lineage experience
Experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL); (Informatica, Talend)
Experience with OLAP: Snowflake, Teradata, Databricks
Cloud Services (AWS, Azure)
Knowledge of Business Intelligence (Power BI, other tools)
OLTP Databases (MS, SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres)
Application Development (Python, C#, etc.)
Soft Skills
Seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialty
Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to work independently
Pay Range: $75,300.00 - $135,400.00 per year
