Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for an EMEA Region Sales Manager – Agriculture. The person in this role will manage and grow sales across the EMEA region, focusing on Spectrum’s plant-measurement instruments and agricultural solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing distributor and key account relationships, conducting product demonstrations and presentations, and providing technical and commercial support to customers. The role involves regular virtual meetings, travel within the EMEA region as needed, forecasting sales, monitoring market trends, and collaborating with internal teams on pricing, marketing initiatives, and product feedback. The EMEA Region Sales Manager will also prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in agricultural sales, agribusiness development, or technical sales within the agriculture or ag-tech sector.
Strong account management skills, including relationship building, territory planning, and pipeline management.
Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts related to plant measurement, environmental monitoring, and agronomic practices.
Proficiency with CRM systems, standard office software, and online meeting tools.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills across diverse cultures and stakeholders.
Self-directed work style with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a remote, region-wide role.
Fluency in English; additional EMEA-region languages are a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, agronomy, environmental science, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Willingness and ability to travel within the EMEA region as required.
