About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Company Description Bambino Therapy is a Bengaluru-based practice dedicated to supporting children’s speech and language development in ways that honor each child’s individuality and voice. The team focuses on communication as a means of connection, autonomy, and self-advocacy rather than simple requesting or compliance.
Bambino Therapy specializes in Gestalt Language Processing (GLP) and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), using child-led, play-based therapy approaches. The practice emphasizes presuming competence in every child, celebrating progress in everyday moments and empowering children to shape their own paths. Clinicians work in a collaborative, supportive environment that values flexibility, creativity, and family-centered care.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Speech-Language Pathologist based at Bambino Therapy’s center in Timber Yard Layout. The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide assessment and intervention for children with diverse communication needs, including those who use GLP and AAC. Daily responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized, play-based treatment plans, delivering therapy sessions, and documenting progress in a clear and timely manner. The role involves collaborating closely with families and caregivers, coaching them on communication strategies, and coordinating with other professionals as needed. The Speech-Language Pathologist will also contribute to ongoing program development, participate in team meetings and case discussions, and stay current with child-led and neurodiversity-affirming practices.
Qualifications
Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Speech-Language Pathology and appropriate national or local licensure/registration to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Experience in pediatric speech and language assessment and intervention, including working with neurodivergent children and children with complex communication needs.
Knowledge of Gestalt Language Processing and/or strong interest in learning GLP-informed, child-led intervention approaches.

Strong observational, documentation, and clinical reasoning skills for tracking progress and adjusting goals over time.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for partnering with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members.
Commitment to inclusive, non-compliance-based, neurodiversity-affirming practice and presuming competence in all children.
Comfort working on-site in a clinical setting, managing a caseload, and maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards.
