Role Description The Grants Writer is a full-time remote role responsible for securing funding that supports Labeling Master Hub’s programs and growth. Day-to-day tasks include identifying grant opportunities, conducting prospect research, and aligning funding priorities with organizational needs. The Grants Writer will draft, edit, and submit high-quality proposals, concept notes, and supporting documents, ensuring compliance with each funder’s guidelines and deadlines. This role will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to collect data, budgets, and program information, and maintain accurate records of applications, awards, and reporting requirements. The Grants Writer is expected to manage a pipeline of opportunities, track outcomes, and contribute to broader fundraising strategies and donor communications.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Grant Writing and Proposal Writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, compelling, and compliant funding applications.
Candidates should possess Grant Administration expertise, including tracking deadlines, maintaining documentation, and supporting reporting requirements.
Candidates should possess Prospect Research capabilities, including identifying, analyzing, and prioritizing potential funders and opportunities.
Candidates should possess Fundraising skills, including contributing to donor engagement strategies and collaborating on funding campaigns.
Strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences and funders.
Experience working remotely, with reliable time management, self-direction, and comfort using digital collaboration tools.
Prior experience in grants or nonprofit development, preferably within technology, compliance, or related sectors.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to synthesize complex information into concise narratives and to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
