Finance Project Manager & Business Analyst – FIP APAC
Experience: 5-7Years
Location: Mumbai
Department: FSS – Finance Solutions Office
Notice Period: Immediate Joiner
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis – 70%
Understand project objectives and gather/document business and user requirements.
Conduct feasibility studies, impact assessments, and define the target operating model.
Translate business requirements into clear specifications for IT teams.
Define testing strategies based on project requirements.
Design test cases and coordinate UAT activities.
Validate accounting entries and financial reports during testing.
Ensure successful UAT sign-off and implementation.
Project Management – 30%
Manage the complete project lifecycle from initiation through closure.
Prepare project scope documents, project plans, schedules, and status reports.
Coordinate effectively with IT, Finance, Operations, PMO, and other stakeholders.
Identify project risks and proactively develop mitigation plans.
Track project progress against timelines and budgets.
Coordinate smooth go-live implementation and provide post-go-live support.
Present regular project updates to senior management.
Manage production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate timely resolution.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in accounting, finance projects, financial reporting, or related areas.
Strong knowledge of General Ledger and Accounting.
Good understanding of financial products and financial instruments.
Knowledge of accounting treatment under IFRS is preferred.
Experience in Business Analysis and Project Management.
Knowledge of front-to-back financial operations is an advantage.
Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SQL.
