As a Product Designer, you will partner with product, commercial, engineering, data, editorial and content teams across REA to improve media products, support new advertising experiences and bring greater consistency to editorial categories, articles and design-system patterns.
Lead discovery and design across editorial content and media on portal, from problem definition and exploration through to delivery and continuous improvement
Partner with product managers, engineers, commercial stakeholders, data specialists, editorial teams and content teams to understand opportunities and bring ideas to life
Contribute to the discovery, launch and iteration of advertising products and formats, using customer feedback and performance data to guide decisions
Design clearer, more consistent experiences for editorial categories and articles, including components, hierarchies and design-system patterns
Create journeys, interaction models, prototypes and other design artefacts that build shared understanding and align teams around a direction
Participate in design critiques and help promote user-centred practices across cross-functional teams
Who we’re looking for
You are someone who enjoys working in agile, fast-paced environments and moving between strategic thinking, discovery and hands-on design delivery. You’re comfortable with ambiguity, care about design quality and can connect customer needs to business outcomes.
Experience designing digital products and experiences across discovery, delivery and iteration
A collaborative, solutions-focused approach, with strong stakeholder partnerships and a generous attitude to sharing knowledge and receiving feedback
Experience using research, customer insight and data to understand needs, test ideas and evaluate product performance
An understanding of design systems, interaction design and systems thinking, with an eye for creating simple, effective and consistent experiences
An interest in media, advertising, editorial products or agency environments. Knowledge of how Meta and Google ads are created and managed would be a real bonus
