Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Oracle PPM Cloud Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Cloud and Finance/ERP modules. The ideal candidate will have hands-on implementation and support experience, strong functional knowledge, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work directly with customers and Oracle Support on complex and escalated issues.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support Oracle PPM Cloud implementations and production support, with a minimum of 2–3 implementation/support engagements.
Provide functional expertise across Oracle PPM Cloud modules, including:
Project Costing
Project Contracts
Project Billing
Project Control
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective Oracle Cloud solutions.
Perform business process mapping, fit-gap analysis, and Level 1–3 finance business process analysis.
Prepare functional specifications, business requirement documents, process flows, and solution documentation.
Develop and support OTBI reports, analytics, and functional reporting requirements.
Work on Oracle PPM Cloud integrations, data migration, and data-loading activities using appropriate Oracle tools.
Configure and support PPM Cloud security, roles, workflows, and approval processes.
Utilize Oracle Cloud tools such as FSM (Functional Setup Manager), Rapid Implementation Templates, ADFdi, and other relevant tools.
Troubleshoot complex functional issues and provide effective solutions within agreed SLAs.
Collaborate with Oracle Support and customers to investigate and resolve highly escalated functional issues.
Participate in testing activities, including unit testing, SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
Support post-go-live activities, enhancements, issue resolution, and continuous process improvements.
Work with technical teams on integration requirements and ensure successful functional validation of solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2–3 Oracle PPM Cloud implementation and/or support experience.
Strong functional knowledge and hands-on experience in Oracle ERP/Finance modules, with a primary focus on Oracle PPM Cloud.
Strong knowledge of:
Oracle Project Costing
Oracle Project Contracts
Oracle Project Billing
Oracle Project Control
Good understanding of Oracle PPM Cloud integrations and data loaders, including Spreadsheet Data Loader and related tools.
Hands-on experience with FSM, Rapid Implementation Templates, ADFdi, and other Oracle Cloud tools.
Experience in business process mapping and fit-gap analysis.
Good understanding of Level 1–3 Finance business processes.
Experience in preparing functional specifications and supporting functional documentation.
Hands-on experience with OTBI reports and analytics.
Experience with PPM Cloud security, roles, workflows, and approvals.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to discuss functional issues, solutions, and escalations with customers and Oracle Support.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Oracle PPM/Finance Cloud certification will be an advantage.
Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) is preferred.
Experience working on multiple Oracle Cloud implementation and support projects.
Experience in customer-facing roles and handling production-critical issues.
