Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Design, plan, and deliver PSTN and IMS-based voice solutions, including:
Fixed Voice
VoLTE
VoWiFi
VoNR
Emergency Services
Interconnect and roaming services
Regulatory voice services
Translate business, operational, and service requirements into:
Solution architecture
High-Level Designs (HLDs)
Low-Level Designs (LLDs)
Implementation plans
Migration strategies
Deployment-ready engineering deliverables
Define end-to-end PSTN and IMS architecture covering:
P-CSCF
I-CSCF
S-CSCF
TAS
SBC
HSS and UDM
MGCF
Media Gateway
Signalling Gateway
Design the integration of PSTN and IMS platforms with:
EPC
5G Core
Legacy voice networks
Fixed-access networks
Third-party telecom platforms
Develop call-routing strategies, numbering plans, interconnect models, SIP trunking designs, and PSTN interworking solutions.
Design and validate:
Emergency calling services
Lawful Intercept
Mobile Number Portability
Service continuity
Disaster recovery
Regulatory compliance requirements
Conduct architecture governance and assurance activities, including:
Technical design reviews
Capacity planning
Resiliency assessments
Interoperability validation
Risk analysis
Security reviews
Solution compliance assessments
Manage HLD-to-LLD traceability and ensure alignment between requirements, architecture, implementation, testing, and production deployment.
Provide technical leadership throughout:
Integration and implementation
PSTN-to-IMS migration
Network transformation
Software upgrades
Testing and service validation
Customer acceptance
Rollback planning
Production deployment
Design integrations with:
OSS/BSS platforms
Charging systems
Provisioning platforms
Subscriber databases
Network management systems
Third-party telecom applications
Collaborate with telecom operators, technology vendors, engineering teams, operations teams, and other stakeholders to resolve complex architecture and service-design challenges.
Support cloud-native IMS evolution, automation, AI-assisted operations, and autonomous network initiatives.
