Position Title:
Technical Assistant Manager (AM – Technical)

Role Summary:
The Technical Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operation, and technical management of corporate office facilities. The role ensures that all engineering systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire safety, HSE, etc.) function efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Facility Operations & Maintenance
Manage day-to-day operations of building engineering systems including HVAC, electrical, UPS, DG sets, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance schedules are implemented and tracked.
Monitor system performance and take corrective actions for efficiency improvements.
2. Vendor & Contractor Management
Supervise external vendors for maintenance, housekeeping, AMC services, and repairs.
Ensure SLA/KPI compliance from vendors.
Evaluate vendor performance and support contract negotiations.
3. Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (fire safety, electrical safety, building norms).
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
Maintain documentation for inspections and certifications.
4. Energy Management
Monitor energy consumption and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
Implement energy efficiency programs and sustainability practices.
5. Project & Fit-Out Support
Support office renovations, expansions, and fit-out projects.
Coordinate with design, project, and procurement teams.
Ensure timely execution within budget and quality standards.
6. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution
Respond to technical breakdowns and emergency situations.
Analyze root causes and implement preventive measures.
7. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain logs, maintenance records, and asset registers.
Prepare MIS reports on operations, maintenance, and costs.
8. Stakeholder Coordination
Work closely with internal teams (Admin, HR, IT, Security) to ensure seamless facility operations.
Address employee concerns related to infrastructure and technical issues.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Certifications in facility management or safety (preferred).
Experience:
8-10 years of experience in facilities management or technical operations, preferably in corporate office environments.
Key Skills:
Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, fire systems).
Vendor and contract management
Problem-solving and troubleshooting
Good communication and coordination skills
Knowledge of safety and compliance standards
Ability to handle emergencies and multitasking
Preferred Competencies:
Experience with BMS (Building Management System)
Energy management awareness
Project management exposure
