Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an AI Architect (Java Python) at Avanza Solutions. The AI Architect will design and oversee end-to-end AI solution architectures, focusing on scalable, secure, and maintainable systems built primarily with Java and Python. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product and engineering teams to define technical requirements, selecting appropriate AI frameworks and tools, and designing software components and integration patterns. The role involves hands-on programming, reviewing code for architectural alignment, and implementing design patterns and best practices for AI-driven applications. The AI Architect will also mentor developers, contribute to technical documentation, and support deployment and performance optimization in production environments.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Software Architecture and Software Design, with experience defining scalable, secure, and modular system architectures.
Hands-on Software Development and Programming skills, preferably with extensive experience in Java and Python for AI or data-intensive applications.
Applied knowledge of Design Patterns and architectural best practices, including microservices, event-driven design, and layered architectures.
Experience designing and implementing AI/ML solutions, including model lifecycle management, integration with enterprise systems, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization/orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for deploying AI services.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience collaborating in distributed teams and working effectively in a remote environment.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Background in financial services, telecommunications, or other enterprise domains is an advantage.
