Assistant Manager - Placement (Design Courses)

Key Responsibilities:
The Placement Coordinator is responsible for managing the placement activities of the institution. This includes liaising with employers, coordinating placement drives, and providing career guidance and counseling to students. The role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to helping students succeed in their career pursuits.
Employer Engagement:
Develop and maintain relationships with employers, industries, and other relevant organizations.
Organize and coordinate on-campus and off-campus placement drives, career fairs, and recruitment events.
Secure internship and job opportunities for students and graduates.
Student Support:
Provide career counseling and guidance to students, including resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
Conduct workshops and seminars on career-related topics.
Assist students in understanding market trends and employment opportunities.
Administration:
Maintain a database of student profiles, employer contacts, and placement records.
Monitor and track placement statistics and prepare reports for management.
Ensure all placement activities comply with institutional policies and procedures.
Collaboration:
Work closely with academic departments to align placement activities with curricular goals.
Coordinate with alumni for networking and mentoring opportunities.
Foster a collaborative environment among students, faculty, and employers.
Promotion:
Promote the institution’s students and graduates to potential employers.
Develop marketing materials and use social media and other platforms to highlight student achievements and placement successes.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
· Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in placement coordination, career services, or a related field.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Proficiency in using career services management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
