Who we are looking for
We are looking for a Senior Legal Specialist, Senior Associate to join the Global Contracts Legal (GCL) team in Gdansk, Poland. In this role, you will help shape and safeguard State Street’s global operations by drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex agreements, contributing to key Legal Department initiatives and delivering legal support to business units and corporate functions worldwide.

Your new role
As a Senior Legal Specialist, Senior Associate you will be:
Drafting and negotiating legal contracts governed by the laws of various jurisdictions in accordance with relevant training
Working with internal legal and business colleagues to address various legal and corporate initiatives and resolving legal issues
Handling multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with careful legal analysis and attention to detail
Exercising sound judgement in dealing with clients and colleagues
Acting as a trusted adviser to State Street business units

Education & Preferred Qualifications:
A law degree from any jurisdiction (an attorney-at-law qualification considered an advantage)
At least 3 years of legal experience gained within a law firm or an in-house legal department
Hands-on experience in contract negotiations would be an additional asset
Additional requirements:
The position requires office presence at least 3 days per week
Minimum Salary:​
zł87 000 Annual
The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.​
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.​
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.​
