Play a key role in strengthening the risk and control environment that supports OCBC's Cards and Unsecured Lending business. As a Regional & SG PMO & In Control Risks Intern, you'll be part of a team that helps ensure business processes operate effectively, comply with regulatory requirements, and maintain strong governance standards.

You'll work closely with risk and control professionals to review processes, support risk assessments, and contribute to initiatives that strengthen the business control framework.
Your ability to organise information, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and leverage technology to improve processes will be key to supporting the team's objectives and driving operational excellence.
What You Do
Your responsibilities will include:
Risk & Control Reviews: support the Risk and Control Manager in reviewing business processes and identifying opportunities to strengthen internal controls and governance practices
Process Documentation: prepare and maintain process documentation, including process maps, flowcharts, and control procedures to ensure clear and consistent operating standards
Regulatory Compliance Support: assist in monitoring adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management frameworks across the Cards business
Risk Awareness & Training: support the preparation of risk awareness materials, communications, and training content to promote a strong risk culture
Reporting & Governance: assist in preparing risk and control presentations, review summaries, and management reporting materials
Process Deep-Dive Reviews: participate in detailed reviews of business processes across Cards Issuing, Acquiring, Unsecured Loans, Partnerships, and Loyalty programmes to identify risks and improvement opportunities
Controls Automation: assist in developing macros, tools, and automation solutions to enhance control reviews and improve operational efficiency
Audit Support: provide administrative and coordination support for Singapore and Regional internal audit activities
Ad-hoc Projects: support additional risk, governance, compliance, and business improvement initiatives as assigned
Who You Work With
Global Consumer Financial Services helps individuals and businesses achieve their financial aspirations through innovative and trusted banking solutions. Within Card Payments & Personal Loans, the Regional & SG PMO & In Control Risks team plays a vital role in ensuring the business operates within established risk appetites, regulatory expectations, and governance standards.
You'll work alongside experienced professionals in risk management, compliance, governance, and business management, gaining valuable insights into how effective controls and regulatory compliance support sustainable business growth and customer trust.
