ole Definition: Plans, develops, manages and directs strategic sales, commercial and operational activities across the Asia Pacific region to achieve forecasted sales, revenue, margin, market share and profitability objectives. Develops and implements a sustainable long-term growth strategy for the region while ensuring customer satisfaction, operational excellence, governance, compliance and talent development. Leads the regional organization and serves as the executive representative of MWM within APAC.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver regional sales, revenue, margin and market share targets while maintaining full accountability for business performance.
• Develop and execute regional, country and key account strategies to drive profitable growth and strengthen MWM's market position across APAC.
• Lead business development activities, identify new market opportunities and establish strategic partnerships to expand the regional business.
• Build, maintain and strengthen executive-level customer relationships while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and long-term business partnerships.
• Direct and manage sales forecasting, pipeline management and commercial negotiations to achieve growth and profitability objectives.
• Develop and implement regional business plans, organizational strategies and operational initiatives aligned with global business objectives.
• Lead, develop and coach the regional leadership team while ensuring succession planning, talent development and employee engagement.
• Ensure compliance with all corporate policies, legal requirements and governance standards while protecting company assets and minimizing business risk.
Skills Required
Strategic Thinking:
Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
Business Development:
Identifying, creating, and pursuing opportunities that help a company grow revenue, expand markets, build strategic partnerships, and achieve long-term business objectives.
Relationship Management:
Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Sales Forecasting & Commercial Acumen
Understanding Caterpillar's business segments, growth strategy, customers, dealers, products, services, and the commercial drivers that affect business performance.
Predict future sales demand and revenue by analyzing market conditions, customer activity, business pipelines, dealer feedback, historical trends, and economic indicators to support business planning and decision making.
Leadership
Inspire, influence, and empower others to achieve business goals while demonstrating Caterpillar's values, driving results, developing people, and creating a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.
This position requires working onsite five days a week.
