How you'll make an impact
As a Senior Calibration Technician, you will support and coordinate calibration and metrology activities across our manufacturing environment. Working closely with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Facilities, and external service providers, you will ensure critical equipment and systems remain compliant, reliable, and ready to support production.
In this role, you will:
Coordinate calibration, preventive maintenance, and inspection activities with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
Review calibration certificates, technical documentation, and maintenance records to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
Manage equipment records and calibration schedules within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Support calibration activities across manufacturing equipment, laboratory instruments, utility systems, and environmental monitoring devices.
Investigate calibration-related discrepancies and non-conformities while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Serve as a key technical resource for metrology and calibration processes across the site.
What you'll need (Required)
Bachelor’s degree or technical/professional qualification in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience in Metrology.
Minimum 3 years of experience in calibration, metrology, or a related technical environment.
Knowledge of calibration principles, measurement systems, and manufacturing equipment diagnostics.
Experience reviewing calibration reports, certificates, and technical documentation.
Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and metrology best practices.
Experience using CMMS platforms to manage calibration and preventive maintenance activities.
Knowledge of GMP and Good Documentation Practices within a regulated environment.
Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English.
What else we look for (Preferred)
Experience coordinating external calibration or maintenance service providers.
Experience with Maximo or similar CMMS platforms.
Experience within medical devices, pharmaceuticals, laboratories, or other regulated industries.
Experience supporting investigations related to non-conformities or out-of-tolerance events.
Experience providing technical guidance or training to others.
Strong organizational skills, proactive mindset, and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
