About the role
The Production Operator plays a key role in operating machinery and equipment within our manufacturing facility to ensure the efficient, safe, and high-quality production of our materials. This role supports daily operational goals, maintains safety and quality standards, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
This position is an full-time, on-site role based at our Cramlington facility.
Safely set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing machinery and production lines in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials and finished products to ensure adherence to company standards.
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning of equipment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
Maintain accurate production records, logs, and material tracking within internal inventory and reporting systems.
Adhere strictly to all site Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) guidelines and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Required:
Previous experience working in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
Strong commitment to workplace health, safety, and operational standards.
Ability to perform physical tasks associated with machinery operation and manual material handling.
