Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Digital Sales Manager role based in the Greater Chennai Area. The Digital Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth across the network’s digital properties by identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and developing data-driven sales strategies. Daily activities include prospecting and pitching to advertisers and agencies, preparing and delivering impactful sales presentations, negotiating and closing deals, and coordinating campaign execution with internal marketing and operations teams. The role involves monitoring campaign performance, optimizing digital ad placements, and providing regular reporting and insights to clients. The Digital Sales Manager will also collaborate with content, product, and technology teams to create integrated solutions that leverage the group’s TV, digital, and other media assets.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in digital media or advertising sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Strong skills in client acquisition, relationship management, and account growth within agencies and direct advertisers.
Knowledge of digital advertising ecosystems, including programmatic buying, ad networks, social media platforms, and performance marketing.
Ability to analyze campaign data, prepare reports, and generate actionable insights to improve sales outcomes and client ROI.
Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
High level of collaboration and cross-functional teamwork, with the ability to coordinate with marketing, product, and technical teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Media, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Experience in broadcast or digital media organizations, especially in large networks or multi-brand environments, is highly beneficial.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
