About The Role
This role sits within the Global Platform Integrity team in Community Operations and plays a critical role in enabling sustainable growth across APAC. The team owns document operations that help earners get onto the Uber platform quickly and safely, balancing a seamless onboarding experience with the regulatory and policy requirements needed to operate in each market. You'll partner closely with Product to shape new launches, automation, and efficiency improvements, and with Operations to support market expansions and implement new policies-identifying opportunities to remove supply friction and make it easier for more earners to access the platform.
Beyond day-to-day document operations, this role will help define how Uber scales identity and eligibility processes across a highly complex and diverse region. You'll use operational insights to improve products and workflows, mitigate fraud and platform risk, and ensure evolving compliance requirements are translated into scalable, effective solutions. The role sits at the intersection of growth, product, operations, and compliance, with a mandate to protect the integrity of the platform while unlocking supply and enabling the business to grow.
What You'll Do
Partner with regional compliance and safety operations to stay on top of any regulatory and safety-related changes that may impact our business
Oversee the document verification process by owning key scorecard KPIs on processing accuracy, processing speed, cost, process automation, and fraud detection
Work cross-functionally to kick off improvement and back-to-health plans when any KPIs underperform
Own all communications to regional stakeholders and leadership on business health
Work closely with operations and product to identify and deploy automations
Conduct regular process deep-dives to ensure there are no gaps in the process
Build long-term strategy for APAC based on regional inputs and priorities
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of experience
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage and influence multiple cross-functional teams
Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale projects
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Exceptional communication skills to work effectively with APAC Ops and CommOps leadership
Previous experience working across multiple geographies
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced data analytics skills including SQL
Previous experience working in a matrix organisation
Previous experience of working with Product and Engineering for solutions design
