Job Summary
We are looking for experienced Concurrent Auditors / Bank Auditors with strong hands-on experience in banking audits. The candidate will be responsible for conducting concurrent audits of banking transactions, reviewing controls and compliance, identifying irregularities, and ensuring adherence to RBI guidelines and bank policies.
Candidates without prior Banking Audit experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Concurrent Audit / Bank Audit of banking transactions and processes.
Review day-to-day banking transactions to identify errors, irregularities, and control weaknesses.
Verify advances, loans, cash transactions, deposits, remittances, and other banking activities.
Review loan documentation, sanction terms, disbursements, repayments, and compliance with approved terms.
Verify KYC, AML, account opening, and customer documentation requirements.
Check adherence to RBI guidelines, banking regulations, and internal bank policies.
Review NPA classification, interest application, overdue accounts, and related processes.
Verify cash balance, ATM transactions, clearing transactions, and other operational activities.
Review suspense accounts, sundry accounts, and unusual/exceptional transactions.
Identify and report financial, operational, and compliance-related discrepancies.
Prepare audit observations and reports and communicate significant findings to the concerned authorities.
Follow up on audit observations and ensure timely closure of exceptions.
Maintain proper audit working papers and supporting documentation.
Coordinate with branch/bank officials to obtain required information and explanations.
Mandatory Requirements
Prior Banking Audit experience is mandatory.
Experience in Concurrent Audit / Bank Branch Audit / Credit Audit / Statutory Bank Audit will be preferred.
Good understanding of banking operations and financial products.
Knowledge of RBI guidelines and banking compliance requirements.
Strong understanding of loan/credit documentation and verification.
Good analytical and auditing skills.
Ability to identify discrepancies and control weaknesses.
Good communication and report-writing skills.
