Location: Barcelona, Spain *must be based within a 1 hr drive to Barcelona*

The ERP & Business Systems Specialist is responsible for supporting, optimizing, and continuously improving NSI’s ERP and connected business systems while actively participating in system implementations and improvement initiatives. SAP Business One is our primary ERP, and the role combines hands-on systems support with SQL/data analysis, integrations, automation, reporting, and project work. SAP Business One experience is strongly preferred, but candidates with solid experience in other established ERP platforms and the willingness to learn SAP B1 will also be considered.
Responsibilities:
Support and optimize SAP Business One and connected business systems across key operational areas
Troubleshoot ERP and system issues using configuration, SQL/data analysis, and business process knowledge
Monitor and support integrations, EDI, BPA workflows, and other connected system processes
Manage and prioritize business system issues based on business impact and own them through resolution
Support ERP upgrades, implementations, enhancements, testing, and process improvement initiatives
Use SQL and reporting tools to investigate issues, validate data, and support dashboards and KPIs
Identify opportunities to automate processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen reporting and data visibility
Work closely with business users and technical teams to translate operational needs into practical system solutions
Support Google Workspace, user access, macOS, MDM, and IT asset management as needed
The ideal candidate will have:
Hands-on experience with ERP or business systems; SAP Business One strongly preferred, but other established ERP platforms will be considered
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills, with experience managing support requests through resolution
Working knowledge of SQL and confidence using data to investigate issues and validate results
Experience with system integrations, automation, ERP configuration, implementations, upgrades, or UAT
Good technical understanding of databases, reporting, APIs, and basic scripting/development concepts
Ability to understand business processes and translate user needs into practical system solutions
Strong communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
Experience with Google Workspace, macOS, MDM, Halo, or Jira is a plus
Education and Experience:
4-6+ years of experience in ERP, business systems, application support, or related technical roles
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred
Fluency in English (oral and written), Spanish is a plus.
Work environment:
Hybrid work arrangement; candidates must live within close proximity to NSI's Barcelona office.
Standard working hours are 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Monday to Friday, supporting our international team.
Occasional flexibility may be required to support critical business systems outside normal hours. Any additional time worked will be offset to ensure total working hours remain consistent.
