Role Description The Freelance Photographer role at Trendcave is a part-time, remote opportunity focused on creating high-quality visual content for sportswear and activewear products. The photographer will capture product images, lifestyle shots, and behind-the-scenes content that reflect the brand’s identity and highlight fabric details, fit, and performance features. Day-to-day tasks include planning and executing photo shoots, coordinating with the marketing and design teams, selecting locations or home setups, and directing models or mannequins as needed. The role also involves editing and retouching images, preparing files in the required formats, and organizing visual assets for use across the website, social media, and promotional materials. The photographer is expected to work independently, manage their own schedule, and meet agreed deadlines while maintaining consistent visual standards.
Qualifications
Strong skills in product and fashion photography, with experience shooting apparel, accessories, or similar consumer goods.
Proficiency with digital cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and basic studio setups suitable for remote work.
Advanced photo editing and retouching abilities using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or comparable software.
Understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and branding to create images aligned with Trendcave’s style and target audience.
Ability to plan and organize shoots, manage time effectively, and deliver high-quality work within deadlines in a freelance setting.
Access to reliable photography equipment, a suitable shooting space, and stable internet connectivity for remote collaboration.
Previous experience working with e-commerce, sportswear, fashion, or activewear brands is an advantage.
Portfolio demonstrating relevant photography work, attention to detail, and consistency in image quality.
