Job Description
The Event Management Operations Support professional will drive end‑to‑end automation initiatives, integrate monitoring and ITSM tools, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Zensar Technologies Limited. Working closely with infrastructure and operations teams, you will design, develop, and deploy automation solutions that enhance service reliability and operational efficiency across diverse platforms and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage automation workflows using tools such as StackStorm, Ayehu, or Arago.
Integrate and configure infrastructure monitoring solutions (SolarWinds, Site24x7, OpsRamp, etc.) with ITSM platforms.
Develop and support integration scripts using SOAP/REST APIs for ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, ManageEngine, and other ITSM tools.
Create and maintain automation use‑case libraries for IT operations and incident response.
Write and troubleshoot scripts in Bash, Python, Perl, and PowerShell across Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
Collaborate with cloud teams to incorporate AWS/Azure/GCP services into automation workflows.
Produce technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge‑base articles for operational procedures.
Monitor production automation jobs, resolve failures, and continuously improve reliability.
Participate in cross‑functional meetings to articulate business benefits of automation solutions.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience with automation or process orchestration tools (e.g., StackStorm, Ayehu, Arago).
Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Proficiency in infrastructure monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Site24x7, OpsRamp, ManageEngine).
Strong background in integrating automation with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, ManageEngine ServiceDesk+).
Solid Unix/Linux and Windows administration skills; comfortable with basic command‑line tasks.
Advanced scripting abilities in Bash, Python, Perl, and PowerShell.
Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, MongoDB) and SQL querying.
Experience developing integration programs using SOAP/REST web services.
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their APIs.
Excellent communication, presentation, and problem‑solving skills; ability to work in a lean, agile environment.
