Role Description This is an on-site internship role for a QA Engineer located in Gurugram. The QA Engineer intern will support the testing of web and software applications, executing test cases to validate functionality, performance, and reliability. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing manual testing, documenting defects, assisting in test case design, and collaborating with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues. The intern will help maintain test documentation, contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, and participate in review meetings to ensure product quality. This role offers hands-on experience in software testing within a fast-paced, product-focused environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Test Execution and Test Cases to systematically validate software features.
Candidates should possess skills in Quality Assurance and Software Testing to ensure products meet functional and performance standards.
Candidates should possess skills in Manual Testing to identify defects and verify fixes across different application modules.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in identifying and documenting issues.
Basic understanding of software development lifecycles and QA methodologies.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work on-site in Gurugram and commit to internship timelines as defined by the company.
Pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
