Looking for a side gig that's fun? Join Cross Creek's Christmas Tree Lot crew at our Midlothian nursery! This is a great seasonal job for college students, anyone on a Holiday break, or anyone who wants to earn some extra money for a couple of weeks. You'll spend your shifts outside, working with a friendly team, and helping local families pick out the perfect Christmas tree. We’re looking for upbeat, reliable team members to join our Christmas Tree Lot Crew for the holiday season! This is a hands-on, outdoor position perfect for individuals who enjoy physical work, customer interaction, and spreading holiday cheer.
No experience needed. We'll train you.
Season: Approximately the week before Thanksgiving through the second week of December (about 3-4 weeks). Exact dates may vary based on weather and demand.
Schedule: Short, part-time shifts built around evenings and weekends. [Days and hours, for example "Mon-Fri 4-8pm, Sat-Sun 9am-6pm"]. [Optional: Flexible scheduling, we'll work around your classes and other commitments.] Weekend availability is required.
What You'll Be Doing
Greet customers and help them find their perfect tree
Set up and display trees so the lot looks clean, full, and inviting
Unload and organize incoming tree shipments
Net, drill, and safely load trees onto customer vehicles
Keep the lot organized and free of debris
Support teammates with other seasonal tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
A positive, dependable, and hardworking attitude
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and to stand, walk, and work outdoors for the full shift
Comfort working in all kinds of weather, including cold, wind, and rain
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Must be 18 years or older
