About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

Company Description
Depop is a peer-to-peer circular fashion marketplace where anyone can buy, sell and discover secondhand fashion. Our mission is simple: to make fashion circular by making secondhand as exciting and rewarding as buying new.
Founded in 2011, Depop’s diverse community has helped move resale into the mainstream, where buying secondhand is no longer an alternative, but how people of different ages now engage with fashion. Today, more than 56 million registered users come to Depop to find great value, express their own personal style and give clothes a longer life. We believe that everything you want already exists, and our role is to help people discover it.
Powered by a team of over 500 people, our company is headquartered in London, with offices in New York. In 2021, Depop became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Etsy - the global marketplace for unique and creative goods - and continues to operate as a standalone company. We aim to create an inclusive environment where everyone is welcome, no matter who they are or where they’re from. About the Role
We're looking for an IT Support Engineer to join Depop's IT team.
This is a fixed-term contract of approximately 6 months, helping Depop through its integration with eBay.
In this role, you'll help employees through a period of change as Depop moves onto new devices, accounts and tools. You'll be a friendly, hands-on point of contact for colleagues across the business, making sure everyone can get set up, stay productive and feel confident with what's changing.
Day to day, you'll run setup sessions, troubleshoot issues in person and remotely, and spot common problems so we can fix them at the source and share clear guidance with everyone.

Work with the IT team across a range of hardware, platform and workspace migrations, answering employee questions and guiding people through each change.
Help deliver a company-wide hardware refresh, coordinating setup sessions to get employees onto their new devices and accounts.

Handle onsite and remote support queries with a high standard of customer service, including questions and issues with new devices and tools.
Take ownership of issues through to resolution, and flag recurring problems or improvements to the team.
Analyse common issues and keep documentation up to date as processes and tools change.
Assist with AV, video conferencing and hardware setup and maintenance as needed.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical colleagues.
A customer-focused approach and patience when helping people through change.
Ability to manage your own workload while working collaboratively across teams.
Able to hit the ground running and deliver impact within a fixed-term engagement.
Nice to Have
Experience with enterprise Mac device management, such as Jamf Pro.
