Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical QA Analyst responsible for validating financial data analysis products, designing and executing QA processes, and driving continuous product improvements.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of financial documents, analytical validation, business rules, and quality assurance methodologies.
Key Responsibilities1. Financial Data Analysis & Validation
Validate outputs generated by financial analysis products, including:
Bank Statement Analysis (BSA): Transaction categorization, income identification, expense analysis, cash flow, EMI detection, balance calculations, and risk indicators.
GST Analysis: GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2A/2B reconciliation, turnover analysis, tax liabilities, and financial inconsistencies.
MCA Analysis: Balance sheets, profit & loss statements, financial ratios, company financial health, and related financial indicators.
ITR Analysis: Income verification, tax calculations, financial consistency, and reconciliation of reported income.
Cross-verify system-generated outputs against original financial documents.
Validate financial calculations, formulas, business rules, and risk-scoring logic.
Identify data discrepancies, incorrect classifications, missing information, and calculation errors.
Perform cross-document validation between BSA, GST, MCA, and ITR reports.
Maintain validation accuracy reports and document discrepancies.
Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical & Domain Skills
Strong understanding of financial statements, banking transactions, GST, MCA filings, and ITR documents.
Experience validating financial calculations, ratios, reconciliation, and analytical reports.
Knowledge of manual testing, API testing, and regression testing.
Experience with Postman, Excel, and defect-tracking tools such as Jira.
Ability to understand JSON-based API responses and validate business logic.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
Experience in Fintech, RegTech, BFSI, lending, or financial data analytics.
Knowledge of SQL and Python for data validation or test automation.
Familiarity with financial risk assessment, credit underwriting, and fraud detection.
Experience designing QA frameworks and quality dashboards.
Understanding of automated financial analysis products.

Financial data validation accuracy.
Defect detection rate and severity of production defects.
Test case coverage and execution effectiveness.
Regression defect leakage.
Timely completion of QA activities.
Reduction in recurring defects.
Number and impact of product/process improvements implemented.
Ideal Candidate
A candidate who combines financial domain expertise, analytical thinking, and QA execution skills. The person should be capable of independently validating complex financial reports, identifying inaccuracies, establishing QA processes, and contributing to product quality improvements.
Education: B.Tech, BCA, B.Com, MBA (Finance), or equivalent relevant qualification.
Experience: 2–5 years in QA, financial data validation, product testing, or financial analysis, preferably within Fintech/RegTech/BFSI.
