Want to start your career helping clients get real results from technology? As a Customer Operations Associate on our Professional Services team, you'll help utility clients launch and get value from our products. You'll also grow through a six-month development program built for early-career professionals. You'll learn from leaders across the company and build a network outside your team. You'll also take ownership of a project that improves how we deliver for clients.
What you'll do
- Support client implementations and onboarding, including kickoff prep, timelines, action items and status updates
- Help set up, configure and test client programs and communications in our products
- Coordinate with internal teams like Product, Engineering, Support and Account Management to keep projects on track
- Track project tasks, risks and deliverables in our project tools, and follow up so nothing falls through the cracks
- Prepare client-facing materials such as meeting notes, project plans and status reports
- Write and maintain documentation, including playbooks, checklists and how-to guides
- Look for ways to make delivery more consistent, efficient or clear for clients and our team
Your first six months
Through the Emerging Talent Program, you'll:
- Start strong. Meet with your manager before your first day to set goals for Days 30 to 180. In your first week you'll have onboarding sessions, meet your team and have lunch with your cohort.
- Learn from Convey leaders. Join the monthly Foundations Series with your cohort. Topics include succeeding in your first professional role, building your network and making an impact. You'll also meet our CEO.
- Lead an ET Impact Project. Find a real opportunity to improve something in Customer Operations, plan and run the project with stakeholders, and present your results to Convey leaders at the ET Impact Showcase.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Information Systems or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0 to 2 years of experience in a client-facing, project coordination or operations role; internships count
- Strong organization and follow-through, including keeping several projects moving at once
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication with clients and coworkers
- Comfort learning new software and working through technical details; SQL, data or SaaS platform experience is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills, and the curiosity to ask "why does this keep happening?"
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365; experience with (project tool, e.g., Smartsheet, Jira or Asana) is a plus
