About the role
Turner & Townsend seeks an experienced Associate Project Manager to support large-scale construction projects. The ideal project manager will be driven to provide our clients with excellent service.
What you'll do
Support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects to meet schedule, budget, quality, and client objectives.
Coordinate project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
Track project schedules, milestones, risks, and deliverables, ensuring timely escalation of issues.
Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost performance while supporting cost control initiatives.
Prepare project status reports, meeting minutes, action logs, and stakeholder communications.
Review RFIs, submittals, project documentation, and contractor reports for completeness and compliance.
Facilitate communication and information flow between project teams and external stakeholders.
Support design management, construction activities, and project governance processes.
Assist with identifying opportunities for value engineering, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.
Maintain project records, lessons learned, and documentation in accordance with company standards.
Build and maintain positive client relationships while supporting business development opportunities.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the consistent application of Turner & Townsend best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.
3-5+ years of experience in project management, construction management, or project coordination.
Experience supporting commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or real estate construction projects.
Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management principles.
Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, including clients, contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
Experience reviewing project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and progress reports.
Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and analytical skills.
Knowledge of construction delivery methods and project lifecycle management.
PMP, CAPM, CMIT, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
