This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. Temporary employees who work an annual average of 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). Note: Permanent and time-limited NC State Government employees must separate from their permanent or time-limited position in order to work in a temporary position. All temporary employees are limited to one NC State Government temporary assignment at a time.
Individuals hired into a temporary State job must be fully qualified for the job. This temporary position is located in 1300 Western Blvd - Wake County. This position is assigned to the Department of Adult Corrections - Comprehensive Health.
Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $18.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).

Management Preferences/Job Duties:
Assist patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, bathing, clothing, toileting, turning, repositioning and ambulation.
Minimum Education and Experience

High school or General Educational Development diploma; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Special Condition for Continued Employment As required, listing as a Nurse Aide I by the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation. As applicable, listing as a Nurse Aide II by the North Carolina Board of Nursing. As applicable, North Carolina Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
