Want to work on Kubernetes, AWS, and CI/CD at scale while building a strong foundation in platform engineering? Athena is looking for a DevOps / Platform Engineer to help keep critical infrastructure reliable, secure, and highly available.

What You’ll Be Focusing On
🔹 Supporting AWS-hosted and on-premises Kubernetes environments
🔹 Maintaining reliable, secure, and highly available platform infrastructure
🔹 Maintaining and improving GitLab CI/CD pipelines for software delivery
🔹 Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
🔹 Assisting with Kubernetes application deployments using Helm
🔹 Troubleshooting infrastructure, platform, and application issues across AWS and Kubernetes
🔹 Partnering with software engineers to improve deployment automation and developer workflows
🔹 Improving platform observability, automation, reliability, and operational efficiency
🔹 Supporting software deployments into classified environments
What We’re Looking For
✅ Experience working in Linux environments
✅ Hands-on experience with Python or Go (professional work, internships, coursework, or personal projects)
✅ Exposure to Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, or other cloud-native technologies
✅ Experience using Git for source control
✅ Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
✅ Ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly
