About Us
MishiPay is a global leader in next-generation checkout technology, enabling seamless in-store purchases via shoppers’ own smartphones or our minimalist, low capex kiosks.
We provide a complete checkout ecosystem — spanning self-checkout, Mobile POS, Click & Collect and traditional tills — allowing retailers to run their entire store checkout operation on MishiPay.
Our technology reduces operating costs, increases basket size and visit frequency, lowers abandonment, and unlocks rich, real-time customer data — delivering both immediate commercial impact and deeper insight into the in-store customer journey.
We now have major international retail customers in the UK, Europe, Middle East and the USA, and we’re expanding!
To help fuel our growth, we are looking for another Android Developer to join us in Bangalore, who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits, who’ll work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications. You’ll play a key part in the development of our products, help to evolve and streamline our tech stack to suit our needs as we grow, and you’ll enjoy working in an environment surrounded by like-minded inspirational individuals.
You MUST have worked on payments apps with high volumes of transactions within a startup or fast-moving business and you’ll have at least 5 years of Android experience.
Responsibilities
Design and build advanced applications for the Mishipay Android platform including the latest technology and features to ease friction in shopping.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, operations and product staff) to define, design, and ship new features.
Work with 3rd party platforms for functionality, data sources, and APIs.
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
