Role Description The Logistics Manager is a full-time, Corporate job managing the entire out bound Logistics for all 4 Plants-Chakan, Akurdi , Aurangabad and Pant Nagar for All Buisness units-Motorcycle,Probiking, Chetak, Comercial Vehicle, responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of materials and finished goods. This role involves planning and managing inbound and outbound logistics, coordinating with transporters, and internal teams to plan Logistics capacity as per demand, Vendor management, Evaluation and optimize routes, loads, and delivery schedules. The Logistics Manager will monitor inventory levels, support production planning, and align logistics activities with supply chain and procurement strategies. Daily responsibilities include tracking shipments, resolving operational issues, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and maintaining accurate documentation and reports. The role also involves driving process improvements, implementing best practices in logistics and warehousing, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance customer service and operational efficiency.Responsible for IATF implementation in Corporate Logistics
Qualifications
Strong experience in Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management, including coordination of inbound and outbound flows and optimization of logistics processes.
Proficiency in Inventory Management, with the ability to maintain optimal stock levels, support production requirements, and manage warehouse operations.
Knowledge of Procurement processes, vendor coordination, and cost management to align sourcing activities with logistics and supply chain goals.
Customer Service orientation, with the ability to manage delivery commitments, address logistics-related concerns, and support internal and external stakeholders.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced certification in logistics or supply chain is an advantage.
Experience in automotive or manufacturing environments, familiarity with lean practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in ERP systems and logistics/warehouse management tools.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance, on-site team environment.
